Rather than simply being a smaller version of the M size, the S is built around the specific needs of newborn skin, temperature comfort, and early sleep routines.

Its soft Organic Cotton Air Mesh provides gentle wrapping support while helping reduce sudden arm movements associated with the newborn startle reflex, without unnecessarily restricting natural movement.

GOTS-certified organic cotton for delicate newborn skin

The fabric is made with GOTS-certified organic cotton, selected for the sensitive skin of newborn babies. Its soft, gentle feel is designed for extended contact during sleep while providing a comfortable alternative to synthetic-feeling swaddle materials.

The fabric is also made without fluorescent whitening treatment, with careful consideration given to a product that may remain close to a newborn’s skin for long periods of time.

Organic Air Mesh designed to help release excess heat

Newborn babies are still developing their ability to regulate body temperature. The breathable organic cotton mesh structure helps support airflow around the body and reduce unnecessary heat buildup during sleep.

The arms-up butterfly sleeping position also creates more open space around the underarms, helping air circulate through an area where heat can easily become trapped.

Many newborns naturally prefer keeping their arms near their face or above their shoulders rather than being tightly fixed alongside the body.
